🧩 Step-by-Step Disassembly
Step 1: Power Off the Device
Turn the phone off fully before opening it.
Step 2: Remove SIM Tray
To remove the SIM card and SD card tray from the phone's left side, use a SIM ejector tool.
Step 3: Remove the Back Cover
- Use a plastic pry tool or guitar pick to gently separate the back cover, starting from the bottom edge.
- Slide the tool around the edges to release all the clips.
- Be careful near the fingerprint scanner area (if applicable in your variant) to avoid damaging the cable.
Step 4: Disconnect the Battery
- Take off the screws holding the metal shield over the connectors on the motherboard.
- Remove the shield using tweezers.
- To prevent short circuits, detach the battery connector with a plastic spudger.
Step 5: Remove the Battery
The battery is glued in place with adhesive.- Gently pry it up from the bottom with a plastic tool.
